I can’t agree more with Mœbius more as far as the lettering in a comic being an essential part of the look of a page. Most of my favorite artists at least draw the wordballoons into the art, if not letter the page themselves. One of the things that keeps me in love with the medium is that it’s a visual way of telling stories that can be entirely in a single person’s hand...
